Fireman Fred's Chili



1 lb ground beef, veal, and pork

1/3 jar of Fireman Fred’s Chili Mix

1 medium onion, chopped

1 green pepper, chopped

1 tbl olive oil

2 (26 oz) cans drained plum tomatoes

1 16 oz. jar Saratoga Salsa, Medium

1 ½ c. Saratoga Bloody Mare Mix

15 oz. can red beans

15 oz. can white beans

Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Sour Cream




Flatten ground meat and sprinkle with chili mix, pressing it into the meat.  Sauté pepper and onion in olive oil in large pot until tender. Add meat and brown. Add canned tomatoes, Salsa, Bloody Mare Mix, read and white beans.  Simmer for one hour. Serve with optional shredded cheddar and sour cream as toppings.
